Program suggestion
Day 1: Arrival
After arriving at your central hotel, you can already explore Regensburg's old town with its numerous cafés and traditional stores today.
Day 2: Regensburg
After breakfast, you will discover Regensburg today. Your tour guide will take you to the Cathedral, the Old Town Hall and the Porta Praetoria. You will discover the unique patrician houses and family towers and walk across the famous Stone Bridge to Stadtamhof. Take a look back and enjoy the view of the roofs and towers of the city. At lunchtime you will be served traditional Regensburg bratwurst with sauerkraut - bon appétit! The afternoon is at your free disposal.
Day 3: Altmühl Valley
Today you will make an excursion to the Altmühltal. First stop is Kelheim: After a guided tour of the old town, you can visit the famous Befreiungshalle on your own. Afterwards, you will take a boat through the Danube breakthrough to Weltenburg Monastery, the oldest monastery in Bavaria. Stay on your own. We can also arrange lunch at the monastery tavern and/or a visit to the monastery's own brewery.
Day 4: Journey home
