Day 1: Arrival to Berlin
Arrival to Berlin and check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Berlin.
Day 2: Berlin
Today, you go on a tour with main focus on the history of Germany’s capital. You will see traces and places of the Nazi regime and discover what is left of the former "Deathstrip" on the "Historic Mile" between Checkpoint Charlie and Potsdam Square. Hear about the construction of the "Wall" in 1961, its breathtaking fall in 1989 and about life in a divided city during the period of time in between. In the afternoon, you can visit the formerly prison of the former East German Ministry of State Security (MfS), or so called “Stasi” – Hohenschönhausen. Dinner and overnight in Berlin.
Day 3: Dresden
After breakfast, you continue your journey southbound. When arriving at your next stop – Dresden – you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Afterwards, you will explore the city with a guide and see famous buildings like the Semper Oper and the “Zwinger”. Dinner and overnight in Dresden.
Day 4: Prague
Driving eastbound you will cross the border to the Czech Republic. In the capital city, you will meet your guide and discover together with him the Old Town of Prague by bike. You will enjoy your lunch in a traditional restaurant. In the afternoon your guide will show you around the Jewish Quarter with the cemetery and the four synagogues. Afterwards you will visit Hradschin castle and St. Veits Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Day 5: Nuremberg – Munich
Today you leave again for Germany. En route you can stop by in Nuremburg to visit the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds. In the evening, arrival to Munich. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 6: Munich
In the morning, your tour guide will show you the main sights and hidden highlights of Munich while you will find out about Munich’s rich history, legend and folklore. In the afternoon you will explore the “Masterpiece of Sciences and Technology – Deutsches Museum”. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 7: Munich
In the morning you will visit the Dachau Concentration Camp where you will do a guided tour. The Memorial Site on the grounds of the former concentration camp was established in 1965 on the initiative of and in accordance with the plans of the surviving prisoners who had joined together to form the Comité International de Dachau. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast you will have the transfer to Munich Airport for departure.
