Day 1: Arrival in Munich
Arrival in Munich. Dinner and overnight stay in Munich.
Day 2: Munich
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will have a guided walking city tour through the city centre of Munich. You will see the main sights e.g. main hall at Marienplatz and the Frauenkirche. In the afternoon you have time to explore the city on your own. Dinner and overnight stay in Munich.
Day 3: Neuschwanstein Castle & Starnberg
You will drive to Schwangau after breakfast and visit the well-known Neuschwanstein Castle. The tour (audio guide) of the palas (the residential part of a medieval castle) begins with a view into the servants' rooms with authentic oak furnishings on the first upper floor. The rooms on the second floor were never finished and today house a shop, a cafeteria and a multimedia room. The apartments and state rooms of the king are on the third and fourth floors. Afterwards you will go to Starnberg to do a cruise on Starnberger See (lake). Before you go back to your hotel you will visit Abbey Andechs (on your own). You can enjoy dinner at the restaurant of Abbey Andechs. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 4: Romantic Road
With your tour guide you will do an excursion along the romantic road. You will pass by e.g. Augsburg, Dinkelsbühl and Rothenburg o.d. Tauber. With your guide you will visit some cities alongside the route. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuremberg.
Day 5: Nuremberg & Bamberg
After breakfast you will explore the city of Nuremberg. For example, you will see the St. Sebald Church, the Church of Our Lady, the St. Lawrence Church. In the afternoon you will visit Bamberg where you will see for example the Old Court, the Cathedral and the Old Town Hall. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuremberg.
Day 5: Departure
