Tour suggestion
Day 1: Arrival in Munich
Today you will arrive at Munich airport. Afterwards you will be met by your guide and coach and transfer to the city center of Munich. In the morning you will see the Cathedral Church of our Lady and the Church of St. Peter. After lunch at a restaurant you will visit the Residence. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 2: Munich - Bamberg - Nuremberg
This morning you will drive to Bamberg. There you will see for example the Old Court, the Cathedral and the Old Town Hall. Furthermore you will enjoy lunch in a restaurant in Bamberg. In the late afternoon you will continue to Nuremberg. Dinner and overnight in Nuremberg.
Day 3: Nuremberg
After breakfast you will explore the city of Nuremberg. For example, you will see the St. Sebald Church, the Church of Our Lady, the St. Lawrence Church. After lunch, you will visit the Museum Germanisches Nationalmuseum. Dinner and overnight in Nuremberg.
Day 4: Nuremberg - Bayreuth - Munich
Before you are heading back to Munich, you will drive to Bayreuth, known for the annual Richard Wagner Festival. There you will see the city centre as well as the Margravial Opera House and the Eremitage. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 5: Excursion to Island Herreninsel - Nymphenburg Palace
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will do an excursion to the Lake Chiemsee. There you will do a boat tour to the Island Herreninsel, where you will visit the Castle Herrenchiemsee. In the area of Lake Chiemsee you will also enjoy you lunch. After the return to Munich, you will visit the Nymphenburg Palace with its garden, the former summer residence of the Bavarian monarchs. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 6: Excursion to Hohenschwangau Castle and Neuschwanstein Castle
Today you will do an excursion to the famous castles Hohenschwangau Castle and Neuschwanstein Castle. Visit both castles during a guided tour. Lunch in a nearby restaurant. Afterwards you could do a short hike in the area and enjoy the scenery. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 7: Munich and Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Before you will leave, you will have some time to visit the Art Gallery Alte Pinakothek. Afterwards transfer to the Airport in Munich.
