Day 1: Arrival to Amsterdam
After your arrival at Amsterdam International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in the area of Amsterdam.
Day 2: Amsterdam
Today you will explore Amsterdam with a half-day guide. See the Royal Palace, Vondelpark, Leidsestraat/Leidseplein, Leidsegracht and Herengracht! In the afternoon you will visit one of Amsterdam’s famous museums (e.g. Rijkmuseum) and will make a canal cruise. Dinner and overnight in the area of Amsterdam.
Day 3: Amsterdam
After breakfast, make an excursion to the windmills of Kinderdijk, home to a collection of windmills from the 1700s. Originally built to pump water away from low-lying land, these ancient windmills were integral to survival so many centuries ago. The area has since been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This afternoon, savour some free time in this wonderful city. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the sun-dappled canals, visit some of the more touristy parts of the city, or even just relax in a café. Dinner and overnight in the area of Amsterdam..
Day 4: Brussels
After breakfast, you depart for Belgium. En route, you will stop at a Stroopwafel factory to learn how syrup waffles are baked today and of course enjoy an oven-fresh waffle. In the afternoon, a half-day guide will show you the city center of Brussels. Afterwards, you will see one of the many famous chocolate factories. Here, you have the opportunity to taste the delicious chocolate. Dinner and overnight in the area of Brussels.
Day 5: Bruges
In the morning, you will go to Bruges where you will discover this romantic city by foot and boat. Afterwards, you will depart for Germany. In the evening, you will arrive in Cologne, Germany. Dinner and overnight in the area of Cologne.
Day 6: Cologne - Bonn
After breakfast, you will be shown Cologne city center by a half-day guide. You will be impressed by Cologne’s famous cathedral! In the afternoon, you depart for a short trip to Bonn where you will see the Grand Place and Beethoven House. Dinner and overnight in the area of Cologne.
Day 7: Munich
In the early morning, you will depart for Munich and drive along parts of the Romantic Road. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Munich and visit the memorial site of the former concentration camp Dachau in the north of Munich. Dinner and overnight in the area of Munich.
Day 8: Munich
Today, you will depart for a half-day trip to beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle which is one of Germany’s most popular tourist attractions. In the afternoon, you will have a guided tour of Munich’s city centre. Afterwards, you will stop by at one of Munich’s famous brewery restaurants. This is the perfect farewell to an impressive tour through Holland, Belgium and Germany. Overnight in the area of Munich.
Day 9: Departure
After breakfast you will have the transfer to Munich Airport for your flight home.
