Day 1: Arrival in Berlin
Arrival in Berlin, welcome by your guide who will accompany you during your trip. After check-in in your hotel you will do a guided walking tour through Berlin – your tour guide will show you all important sights. Overnight stay in Berlin.
Day 2: Berlin
After breakfast you will continue your tour through Berlin. In the afternoon you will visit the Checkpoint Charlie Museum. On display are the photos and related documents of successful escape attempts from East Germany, together with the escape apparatus: hot-air balloons, getaway cars, chairlifts, and a mini-U-Boat. Overnight stay in Berlin.
Day 3: Berlin - Dresden - Prague
Today your journey continues to Czech Republic, Prague.
On your way you will have a stopover in Dresden where you will have a panoramic city tour to see the main sights. Dresden was the ancient capital of Saxony and it is now considered one of the most important cities in Germany for arts and science. In the evening check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Prague.
Day 4: Prague
In the morning you will explore the city during a guided city tour. You will visit the Old City (Staré Mesto) with the central square and famous churches of St. Nicholas and Tyn, the rests of the City Hall and the astronomic clock, Charles Bridge and the Small City (Mala Strana) with the castle. In the afternoon you will have some time to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay in Prague.
Day 5: Prague - Vienna
Today you will continue your journey to Vienna, Austria. Check-In and time for a first orientation. Overnight stay in Vienna.
Day 6: Vienna - Schonbrunn Castle
After breakfast you will see the main sights of Vienna during a guided city tour. Explore Vienna`s city center with St. Stephen`s Dome, the Graben, the Parliament and the City Hall, and the Hofburg, house of the emperors.
In the afternoon, continue your guided activities by visiting Schonbrunn Castle. Overnight stay in Vienna.
Day 7: Vienna - Salzburg - Munich
In the morning you continue your journey towards Munich. On the way, you will stop in Salzburg and will join a guided tour there. Afterwards drive to Munich. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 8: Munich - Dachau
This morning you will have a guided city tour through the city centre of Munich. You will see the main sights e.g. main hall at Marienplatz and the Frauenkirche. In the afternoon you will visit Dachau concentration camp. The Memorial Site on the grounds of the former concentration camp was established in 1965 on the initiative of and in accordance with the plans of the surviving prisoners who had joined together to form the Comité International de Dachau. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 9: Neuschwanstein Castle
Today you will do an excursion to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. Visit the impressive castle during a guided tour. Overnight stay in Tyrol or Bavarian region.
Day 10: Lucerne
After breakfast you will continue to Lucerne, Switzerland. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Day 11: Lucerne
This morning you will have a guided city tour through Lucerne. In the afternoon you will have some free time e.g. for doing a boat tour on the Lake Vierwaldstätter See.
In the evening you will enjoy a Swiss folklore show including one drink and fondue after show. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Day 12: Lucerne - Heidelberg
After breakfast you continue your tour to Heidelberg. Before checking-in you can enjoy a guided tour through Heidelberg incl. visit Heidelberg Castle. Overnight stay in Heidelberg.
Day 13: Heidelberg - Rhineland
First highlight of this day is a Rhine river cruise – enjoy the landscape! Arriving in Koblenz you will get to know the city during a guided tour. Overnight stay in the area Rhineland.
Day 14: Cologne - Bonn
After breakfast you will explore the area around the Cathedral and the Old Town. Many sights are concentrated within one square kilometer of the Cathedral, town hall and the old town with the Romanesque church of Groß St. Martin. In the narrow, cobble-stoned alleys of the Old Town and on the busy squares like the Roncalliplatz, the Alter Markt or the Heumarkt, you will get a feeling for life in the cathedral city, yesterday and today. Afterwards you will visit the most famous building in the city and find out why the people of Cologne wanted to build "the largest church in the world.
In the afternoon you will go to Bonn and visit the Beethoven House & Museum of German History. Overnight stay in the area Rhineland.
Day 15: Departure
