Tour suggestion
Day 1: Arrival in Berlin
After arrival you will be met by your coach driver. Then you will visit the war museum. Welcome dinner will be in a local restaurant. Overnight in Berlin.
Day 2: Berlin
Today you will meet your local guide for a half day city tour at the hotel. He will show you the former West Berlin. You will drive along the well-known Kurfürstendamm, Berlin’s most famous avenue. You will pass the Gedächtniskirche, symbol of the futile destructiveness of World War II and see some other important sight. In the afternoon you will continue to the Gemäldegalerie, which shows a collection of old masters. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Berlin.
Day 3: Berlin
After breakfast you will have a half day guided city tour of former East Berlin. You will pass the famous avenue Unter den Linden, the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate, which was part of East Berlin until the wall came down. Furthermore you will visit the Checkpoint Charlie. Afternoon on your own’s disposal. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Berlin.
Day 4: Berlin - Prague
This morning you will travel by coach to Prague. Upon arrival you will enjoy a guided city tour and view the main sights. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at your hotel in Prague.
Day 5: Prague - Excursion to Terezin
Today you will have a full day excursion to Terezin. A local guide will show you around and tell you information about the Terezin Concentration Camp Memorial Site. You will return to Prague in the afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city by yourself. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Day 6: Prague
Begin the day with a great view across Prague from the TV tower, which is the tallest building of Prague. In the afternoon you will have a city tour on bicycles. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Day 7: Prague - Vienna
Today you will continue your journey to Vienna. In the afternoon you will enjoy a visit to Mozart’s Residence. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Vienna.
Day 8: Vienna
This morning you will enjoy a guided city walking tour and explore the main sights within the city center. Vienna is the glittering city of the Habsburg Emperors. Also you will visit the Spanish riding school during a guided tour and see an impressive performance. In the afternoon you will visit the Sisi Museum at the famous Hofburg Palace. Viennese dinner at a Heurigen (wine tavern) with music. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 9: Vienna
First highlight of the day is a visit of the Belvedere Museum. In the afternoon you will visit Prater Park and enjoy a ride with the big wheel. Afterwards you will have free time at the Prater. Tonight enjoy a typical “Wiener Schnitzel” dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 10: Vienna
This morning you will visit the impressing Schönbrunn Palace and its surrounding buildings. After the tour through the building you will have some time to stroll around in the park. In the afternoon you will visit the zoo and have a guided tour of African theme. Later you will visit a coffee house and enjoy a piece of torte and a drink like a coffee or hot chocolate. Dinner and overnight in Vienna.
Day 11: Departure
This morning you will depart for your flight home.
