1st day: Welcome to Flanders
On the way to Ghent, you will make your first stop at a traditional brewery. Taste your first beer in Belgium!
2nd day: Culinary tour Ghent
In the morning, you can look forward to an entertaining guided tour of Ghent. Not only will you get to know the old town with its three UNESCO monuments, but you will also have the opportunity to sample various local specialties. Whether sweet or savory, it's always a treat! Afterwards, you can take a relaxing boat trip and let the impressions sink in. In the afternoon, the culinary experience continues with a visit to a chocolate factory, including a guided tour and tasting.
3rd day: Brussels
Today, you will explore the Belgian capital with your guide. From the Atomium, you will travel through the EU district to the historic city center with its beautiful Grand Place. After an individual lunch break, another beer highlight awaits you in the afternoon: several breweries around Brussels have revived the Lambic process. This involves spontaneous fermentation rather than the addition of brewer's yeast.
4th day: Return
On your way home you'll have a culinary stop at the Jenever Museum. You'll learn how this typical juniper schnapps is made. Cheers!
