Tour suggestion
Day 1: Arrival to Frankfurt
Arrival to Frankfurt and check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Frankfurt.
Day 2: Frankfurt
In the morning, you will have a guided tour of the city of Frankfurt. You will see interesting places, such as the lively shopping street Zeil, the famous stock exchange or the old opera house. Furthermore, you will have a little stroll on the picturesque Roemerberg with its historical houses. This is quite a contrast to the modern and busy banking quarter. Afterwards, you continue along the Rhine to Wiesbaden for another 2-hrs guided tour of the capital of the region Hesse. It is famous for the historical spa hotel, the palace and the Marktkirche. Dinner and overnight in Frankfurt and surroundings.
Day 3: Black Forest
After breakfast you depart for the Black Forest. En route, you stop by at Heidelberg where you will tour the historical city center including the palace grounds. The ruins of this old castle tower over the city’s rooftops. In the afternoon, you will explore the romantic Black Forest together with you half-day guide. Dinner and overnight in the Black Forest.
Day 4: Munich
Today, you continue your trip to Munich via Donaueschingen and the Lake Constance. After arrival in Munich, you take a 3-hrs guided tour of the city. You will see the main sights, e.g. the town hall, Marienplatz and the „Cathedral of Our Dear Lady“ and the Olympia area. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 5: Neuschwanstein & Wieskirche
In the early morning, you will start your day excursion to the south of Munich. You will visit the impressive and well-known Neuschwanstein Castle as well as the popular Wieskirche which is a UNESCO cultural sight. Dinner and overnight in Munich.
Day 6: Nuremberg
Today, you will leave for Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Nuremberg, one of the most beautiful mediaeval cities of Germany. In the afternoon, meet your local guide and start your walking tour inlcuding the famous Kaiserburg. Dinner and overnight in the area of Rothenburg.
Day 7: Departure
Departure for Frankfurt and travel home.
