Tour suggestion
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Frankfurt International Airport. You will meet your English speaking Tour Guide at the airport. With him you will have a panoramic city tour through Frankfurt. You proceed to the region Baden-Baden/Rastatt. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: The Black Forest
After breakfast you will have a guided tour by bus through the Black Forest. You will drive from Baden-Baden to Freudenstadt along the famous "Schwarzwaldhochstraße". From here you will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the mountains and hills. Furthermore you will visit a cuckoo clock shop. Here you have time for some shopping. Dinner and overnight stay in the region Baden-Baden/Rastatt.
Day 3: Romantic Road: Rothenburg o.d.T.
You proceed to Nuremberg passing by Stuttgart and Rothenburg o.d.T. In Rothenburg you will have a guided city tour through the medieval old town. You will learn a lot about Rothenburg's interesting history and its buildings, like famous St. James' Church. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuremberg.
Day 4: Romantic Road: Nuremberg
In the morning you will have a guided city tour of Nuremberg, which was an imperial city and international center of commerce. Also, it was an early center of humanism, science, printing, and mechanical invention. Today, the city still has many monuments, buildings and artwork which reflect its historic importance. During the city walk you will also see the most famous sights, like the castle, the market square as well as numerous churches. In the afternoon you will continue your journey to Murnau, south of Munich. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Murnau.
Day 5: Oberammergau and Neuschwanstein Castle
Today you will visit Oberammergau and also the impressive and well-known Neuschwanstein Castle. Seven weeks after the death of King Ludwig II in 1886, Neuschwanstein Castle was opened to the public. The shy king had built the castle in order to withdraw from public life - now vast numbers of people came to view his private refuge. The setting of the Castle could not be more idyllic. Dinner and overnight stay in Murnau.
Day 6: Munich
After check out you will travel to Munich where you will have a guided city panoramic tour. You will see the most spectacular attractions of the city: Isartor, Marienplatz Square, Sendlinger Tor, Stachus Square, Palace of Justice, the three art galleries of Pinakothek, the quarters of Schwabing and Bogenhausen, the boulevards Leopold, Ludwig and Maximilian, the university, Odeon's Square with the Feldherrenhalle, the churches Theatiner and Frauenkirche, the Maximilianeum as well as the famous Hofbäuhaus (the biggest beer hall in Munich). During the visit, you will enjoy many sights and interesting stories! After lunch, you have enough time left to go shopping in the centre of Munich. Farewell dinner at a brewery restaurant in Munich. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 7: Departure
Coach transfer to the airport or extension in Munich.
