Day 1: Arrival in France – Claude Monet – Rouen

Day 2: Rouen, culinary impressions
After a guided tour in Rouen it will be easy to understand the reasons why the cathedral has been painted so often by Monet. In the afternoon you will take part in an impressionistic dinner according to the recipes of Claude Monet. Dinner and overnight stay in the area Rouen.
Day 3: Coast of Alabaster – Le Havre
Today you are going to explore the Norman coast. On your way you will visit a cheese dairy. After a tasting of cheese the trip continues in the direction of Le Havre, the city where Monet has painted his first picture, starting the period of Impressionism. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Le Havre.
Day 4: Lisieux – Norman goodies
In the morning you have time to stroll on the white sandy beach of Deauville. Relaxed you head to the distillery of Calvados in the region of Pays d`Auge. You have the chance to attend a tasting of the products. After this refreshment the tour leads you to Lisieux. It is the second largest place of pilgrimage in France with more than one million visitors per annum. The town was destroyed in the Second World War and has been reconstructed in the style of the 50th. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Caen.
Day 5: History in Bayeux – Dior – Mont St. Michel
Today the trip continues to Bayeux, where you can see the famous carpet of the town. After a guided tour including a visit in the museum of Bayeux you will visit the parent’s house of Christian Dior located in Granville. Afterwards the highlight of the Normandy, the legendary abbey Mont St. Michel, is waiting for you. The abbey is located on a cliffy island. Overnight stay in the area of St. Malo.
Day 6: St. Malo – Paris
In the morning you will visit the village Saint Malo, seated on the coast of emerald in the north of the Bretagne. Dinner and overnight stay in Paris.
