Day 1: Berlin
Upon arrival in Berlin, you will meet your tour escort and driver. After a short orientation tour of the city, you check into your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner together.

Day 2: Berlin – History and Language
Today’s focus is on Berlin’s rich history.
In the morning you will explore the city’s key historical sites on a guided tour. Join a local guide and experience the city’s fascinating history and vibrant present. The tour takes you to some of Berlin’s most famous landmarks, including the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Parliament Building, Checkpoint Charlie, and the Berlin Wall Memorial. Along the way, you will hear stories about the city’s divided past, its reunification, and its transformation into one of Europe’s most dynamic cultural capitals. This tour offers the perfect introduction to Berlin’s unique mix of history, architecture, and modern life.
You will also visit the Allied Museum to learn more about the city’s divided past and the role of the Western Allies during the Cold War.
In the afternoon, you’ll meet a local for a German language class to get a playful introduction to the German language. Dependent on your level of knowledge, you can learn your first German words or learn about different German dialects or get insights into local traditions.

Day 3: Berlin – Street Art and Creativity
Berlin is known for its creative spirit and alternative art scene. Today’s program starts with a visit to the Urban Nation Museum for Contemporary Urban Art.
Afterwards, a local guide will take you on a walking tour through one of Berlin’s trendiest neighborhoods to discover its vibrant street art and graffiti. The tour ends with a hands-on street art or graffiti workshop where you can create your own piece of art.

Day 4: Continue to Dresden via Spreewald
You leave Berlin and travel south towards the beautiful Spreewald, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve famous for its labyrinth of waterways and traditional wooden barges. Meet a local who will take you on a peaceful boat ride through the canals on an original Spreewald barge. During this tour you will have the opportunity to taste the region’s famous pickled cucumbers.
You will also visit an open-air museum to learn about the unique culture of the Sorbian minority.
In the afternoon, your journey continues to Dresden, where you will check in at your hotel and have dinner.
Day 5: Dresden – Art and Neighborhood Life
The day begins with a guided tour through Dresden’s historic Old Town, showcasing architectural highlights such as the Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace, and Semper Opera House.
Afterwards you will meet a local for a neighborhood tour at the quarter Neustadt with its “Kunsthofpassage” - a creative courtyard full of art, cafes, and small shops. Enjoy a coffee or tea in the afternoon at one of the district’s lively cafés that is popular with students and artists.
In the afternoon you can choose between 2 options:
Meet a local artist from a theater who can answer questions such as: What professions exist in the world of theater? How long does it take to make a wig, sew a costume or build a puppet? And why does stage technology actually need a “dog”? Go behind the scenes and gain fascinating insights into the world of theater.
Alternatively, meet a local winegrower who will take you through his vineyard and share the secrets of grape growing and winemaking.

Day 6: Excursion to Pulsnitz – the town of Gingerbread
A sweet experience awaits you today in the nearby town of Pulsnitz, renowned for its traditional gingerbread craft. You will visit a historic bakery, learn about the history and secrets of gingerbread making, and taste a variety of these delicious treats. You’ll also have the chance to decorate your own gingerbread to take home as a souvenir.
The afternoon is free for you to explore Dresden on your own.

Day 7: Saxon Switzerland and Prague
Today you will travel through the picturesque landscapes of Saxon Switzerland National Park. A visit to the famous Bastei Bridge offers stunning views over the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. You will also enjoy a nostalgic ride on a historic tram through the region’s natural beauty.
In the late afternoon, you continue your journey to Prague, where the day concludes with a relaxing dinner cruise on the Vltava River, offering beautiful views of the illuminated city.

Day 8: Prague – City and Cuisine
Your exploration of Prague begins with a guided walking tour of the charming Old Town, including the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, and a panoramic view of Prague Castle (exterior only).
In the afternoon, you will take part in a hands-on cooking class where you will prepare traditional Czech dishes, such as homemade pasta or sweets, under the guidance of a local chef.

Day 9: Prague – Arts and Farewell
Your final full day begins with a funicular ride up Petrin Hill, where you can enjoy spectacular views over Prague. Highlights include a visit to the lookout tower, the mirror maze, and the observatory.
Later, you will meet a local artisan glassblower who will demonstrate traditional Bohemian glassblowing techniques.
The rest of the afternoon is free for shopping, strolling, or relaxing.
In the evening, enjoy a festive farewell dinner with your group to celebrate the end of your journey.
Overnight in Prague
Day 10: Homeward journey from Prag
After breakfast, your tour comes to an end. You will transfer to the airport for your return journey, taking home lasting memories of Berlin, Dresden, Prague, and the cultural treasures of Central Europe.
