Tour suggestion

Day 1: Arrival

Check-In and time for a first orientation. Dinner and overnight in Munich.


Day 2: Rothenburg ob der Tauber

In the morning you will leave the area Munich and you will visit the Jacob-Church in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Rothenburg/Wuerzburg.


Day 3: Wuerzburg

Today you will do you will do some sightseeing in Wuerzburg: Residenz (incl. guided tour), Cathedral, Neumuenster and the Kaeppele. Furthermore you will visit the Marienburgfestung including the Mainfränkisches Museum or the Fürstenbaumuseum. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Heidelberg.

 


Day 4: Speyer, Worms & Nierstein

During this day you will go to Speyer, Worms, Oppenheim and Nierstein. Along the drive you will stop and could visit the following attractions: Speyer: Cathedral & Judenhof, Worms: Dom/Cathedral, Martin Luther Memorial, Jewish cemetery, Raschihaus. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Heidelberg.


Day 5: Heidelberg

On this day, you are going on an excursion to Heidelberg. There you will visit the castle and you have the possibility to stroll through the city. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Heidelberg.


Day 6: Frankfurt am Main

Today you will drive on to Frankfurt. In the city you will visit Jewish museum, Museum Judengasse and Goethe’s House. (For all three attractions you can book a guided tour in English for an additional charge.) Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Coblenz.


Day 7: Mayence / Rhine

This day starts with a drive to Mayence, there you will visit the Kaiserdom/Cathedral, Church St. Stephan and the Gutenbergmuseum. (For all three attractions you can book a guided tour in English for an additional charge.) Furthermore you will drive along the longest river in Germany – the Rhine. You will pass the following cities: Bingen, Bacharach, Lorelei and last but not least Koblenz. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Coblenz.


Day 8: Aachen & Cologne

Today you visit further attractions in Aachen, namely the Cathedral and its treasury chamber. Afterwards you will drive Cologne and stop at the cathedral, the town’s landmark. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Koblenz.


Day 9: Trier

In Trier you will have a look at the Cathedral, the Konstantin Basilica and the Karl-Marx-House. Afterwards you will drive along the river Mosel to Cochem. Dinner and overnight stay in the area of Coblenz.


Day 10: Departure

Before flying back home, you will go on a cruise on the Rhine. After having seen the beauty of the surrounding by boat, you may see the region from the air when flying back home.
