Day 1: Arrival to Rome
Today you arrive in Rome. Coach transfer from airport to your hotel. In the afternoon you have leisure time for a first stroll through the city. Overnight stay in Rome.
Day 2: City tour in Rome and Vatican
After breakfast you will visit Rome with your guide. You will see the Roman Forum and the Colosseum from the outside, the Arch of Constantin and many more interesting monuments. In the afternoon you go with a guided tour of Vatican and Petersdo. You will visit St. Peter`s Basilica in Vatican, Your guide will certainly tell you some secrets about the Vatican. Overnight stay in Rome.
Day 3: Transfer to Siena
After breakfast at the hotel in Rome you continue the journey to Siena with a stop in Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. During a guided tour of Assisi you will see teh Piazza del Comune and Tempio di Minerva, Rocca Maggiore and Basilica San Francesco. Afterwards you go on to Siena. Hotel Check In and overnight stay in Siena.
Day 4: Siena and San Gimignano
In the morning you enjoy your breakfast at the hote. Your guide will show you Siena afterwards. You will enjoy its enchanting architectural styles, including the Cathedral and Palazzo Comunale (Municipal Building) in Piazza del Campo. The famous shell-shaped square provides the stage for the thrilling Palio horse race, run twice every summer. In the afternoon go visit San Gimignano, UNESCO World Heritag, which is one of the most splendid examples of an Italian medieval town. Distinguished by its famous towered skyline, San Gimignano stands along the Via Francigena on the hills of the Upper Val D’Elsa. Also famous for its Vernaccia di San Gimignano wine, saffron, and precious Santa Fina pottery, it is an excellent place to get acquainted with the Tuscan environment. You will enjoy to stroll through the town on your own and explore its beautiful squares, architecture, churches, and side streets. Overnight stay in Siena.
Day 5: Transfer to Florence
Today you continue the journey to Florence. After you arrival you will get to know the city during a guided tour. You can see Piazza San Firenze, home of the Bargello and the Tribunale Fiorentino, the Church of Santa Croce, home to many well-known masterpieces and burial place of some of Italy's most important personages. You will pass by Piazza Signoria known for Neptune's Fountain, the Palazzo Vecchio and the lovely Piazzale degli Uffizi. You will cross the Ponte Vecchio, the medieval stone bridge famous for its gold jewelry shops, to arrive at the spectacular Pitti palace: former residence of the Medici family. Perhaps you stop also at the Strozzi Palace: prototype of Renaissance architecture and you will see the impressive Piazza Repubblica and the magnificent Duomo. Overnight stay in Florence.
Day 6: Pisa and Lucca
After you breakfast you will make an excursion to the cities Pisa and Lucca. Pisa is famous for its architectural beauty. You will visit to the fascinating Piazza dei Miracoli, one of the main centers of medieval art in the world, and home of the celebrated Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, and other beautiful monuments. In Lucca you will have a pleasant walk into the enchanting historical center where you will have the chance to admire the Anfiteatro Square, the Guinigi Tower, San Martino Dome and the typical antique dealers street. Overnight stay in Florence.
Day 7: Transfer to Venice
After breakfast you will leave Florence. Continuation of the journey to Venice. Boat transfer from coach park to Venice Island. In the afternoon you can get to know Venice on your own – stroll along the small lanes. Overnight stay in Venice.
Day 8: Venice and Islands Murano and Burano
Breakfast at the hotel in Venice. Your guide will show you the city. You will visit the Doge’s Palace, the seat of Venetian political power for centuries and the Basilica of St. Mark’s, the Cathedral displays some of the finest examples of Byzantine art in the world, and is unique of its kind in Italy..In the afternoon you will enjoy a half-day cruise to the islands of Murano and Burano, in the Venetian Lagoon. The Venetian islands are known throughout the world for their picturesque scenery, handicrafts, and history. Your first stop will be the island of Murano. Sometimes referred to as the “Island of the Glass,” you will visit one of its famous glass factories and see the glass manufactured and blown. Continue to Burano, admiring the natural environment and the minor islands spread all around. Sights will be pointed out by your tour leader, who will explain the history and significance of the islands. Enjoy Burano, a typical fishing island with its colored contrasts, and chocolate-box painted houses. Overnight stay in Venice.
Day 9: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel in Venice. Check Out. Boat transfer to Airport Venice and departure.
