Day 1: Arrival Lisbon
On your first day you`ll arrive at Lisbon. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Lisbon.
Day 2: Lisbon
After your breakfast you discover this magnificent city. You will visit the Monuments of the Portuguese Discoveries, the most typical quarter and emblematic city museum. You will see the major sights: Jerónimos Monastery, Tower of Belem, Monument to the Discoveries, Coach Museum, Alfama e Rossio. In the evening dinner in your hotel and overnight in Lisbon.
Day 3: Fatima
After you breakfast at your hotel you leave Lisbon. On your third day you will go on to Fatima. In the afternoon you explore the centre of Christian Faith and a local of world pilgrimage. Fatima is visited by thousands of people each year. You will visit the Basilica where the Tombstones of Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta are, Holly Trinity Church as well as the Chapel of Apparitions. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Fatima.
Day 4: Fatima - Santiago de Compostela
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Santiago de Compostela. After your arrival in Santiago de Compostela you have time for you leisure to make a first stroll through the city. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.
Day 5: Santiago de Compostela
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you visit the amazing Cathedral and the beautiful Historical Centre of Santiago de Compostela. You will have free time to have lunch and do some shopping. In the afternoon, we will go to Viana of Castelo where you will visit the Cathedral and its unique downtown. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.
Day 6: Salamanca
After breakfast you will leave Santiago de Compostela and go on to Salamanca, which you will reach in the late afternoon. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Salamanca.
Day 7: Salamanca
After breakfast you visit the historical centre of Salamanca, you see the Casa de las Conchas (the House of Shells), Plaza Mayor, the Catedral Antigua (the Old Cathedral), Catedral Nueva (the New Cathedral) and the ancient Roman Bridge. Of course you will also see the famous facade of the University of Salamanca. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Salamanca.
Day 8: Salamanca – Avila - Madrid
In the morning you leave Salamanca and go on to Madrid. On you way to Madrid you make a stop in Ávila: Santa Teresa de Jesús, a great mystic woman of the Catholic Church, was born in this city which conserves the most ancient and complete fortified complex in Spain (XI century). Its 2500 m wall and its 90 fortified towers surround the old city. You can see churches, gothic palaces and a fortified cathedral of the XII century. After your visit you go on to Madrid. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Madrid.
Day 9: Madrid city tour and Royal Palace visit
Madrid is located in the heart of Spain, in the geographical centre of the country. Madrid is one of the world capitals for art. Its museums, headed by the Prado, and its rich, diverse heritage and monuments make it a unique cultural destination not to be missed. Explore Madrid's attractions on a sightseeing tour by coach. This tour is the perfect introduction to Madrid's famous sights from the Gran Via and Castellana, to famous squares including Plazas de España, Puerta del Sol and Puerta de Alcala. Few European royal residences conserve decorative elements like those of the Royal Palace in Madrid. Its majestic rooms are home to major artistic treasures and continue to bear witness to historic events. Magnificent and grand, the official residence of Spain's monarchs is located in the heart of the capital, in a privileged setting with extraordinary views of the Madrid Mountains. The main entrance is in the grandiose Plaza de Armas Square. From here you can appreciate the elegance and majesty of the building's main facade. Take your time to admire its ornamental details, with the balconies of its most important rooms such as the Throne Room and the Gala Banqueting Hall. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Madrid.
Day 10: Toledo
After breakfast you leave Madrid and go to Toledo. The way that Christians, Arabs and Jews lived side by side for centuries has been reflected in the form of a great artistic and cultural legacy. The maze of streets making up the historic centre of Toledo is only bounded by walls in which many gates were opened, as the Bisagra gate, presided over by two bodies and a great imperial shield forms the main access to the city within the walls and many more. One of the most outstanding buildings in the city is the Cathedral, considered one of the high points of Gothic art. On its main facade the outstanding feature is the doorway, made up of three doors: Infierno (Hell), Perdón (Forgiveness) and Juicio (Judgement). The exterior is topped by the two cathedrals. In the afternoon you go back to Madrid. Dinner in your hotel and overnight in Madrid.
Day 11: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. After eleven impressive days you will leave Spain.
