Day 1: Arrival and Discovery of Kiel
Guided Walking City Tour of Kielwith e.g. market square, preserved parts of St. Nicholas Church and the remains of the monastery and the cellar vaults of the old town hall
Visit of the Kiel Brewery – learn about the art of brewing beer and receive a beer diploma. Dinner in a rustic atmosphere accompanied by freshly brewed "Kieler"
Day 2: Kiel maritime
Visit of fish hall and learn all about Kiel's rich maritime tradition
Approx. 2-hour harbor tour with the Fördeschiff
Excursion to the famous Kiel Canal from the viewing platform you have a great view of the world's busiest artificial waterway
Stop at one of the numerous lighthouses on the Kiel Fjord - learn interesting facts about the towers and enjoy the unique view from above
Day 3: Kiel and the Navy
For almost 150 years, the German Navy has been at home in Kiel and has helped shape significant phases of the city's history.
Guided visit of historic sites of Kiel's naval history, such as the former Art Nouveau church in the Wik naval quarter and along the German Navy base
Excursion to the beautiful coastal landscape to Laboe and visit of Naval Memorial and the submarine U-995
