Day 1: Arrival in Switzerland
Check-In and time for a first orientation. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in the area of Lausanne.
Day 2: Mont Blanc and Geneva Calvin and the French Reformation
The first highlight of today is a scenic drive through the Alps and a tunnel under Mont Blanc, Europe`s highest mountain. Afterwards you are free to enjoy your time in Chamonix, France, at the foot of Mont Blanc. In the afternoon you will drive to Geneva- the city of Calvin and the center of the French Reformation. There you will visit the St. Pierre Cathedral, Reformation Museum, Clavins`s House and the Reformation Monument. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in the area of Lausanne.
Day 3: Kappel and Zurich, Switzerland and Konstanz, Germany Zwingli, the Anabaptists, John Huss and Jerome.
Today you continue your trip to Germany. After breakfast you will drive to Zurich to visit the battlefield where Zwingli died and some more Zwingli sites in Zurich. Afterwards you have some free time to explore the beautiful city Zurich on your own. In the afternoon you will see one of the most beautiful towns on Lake Constance on the German side. It awaits you a walk to visit places where John Huss and Jerome were imprisoned, the church of their trial (Council of Constance) and the place where they were burnt at the stake. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in the area of Constance.
Day 4: Speyer and Worms, Germany
Luther and the German Reformation Begin the day with a good breakfast before you continue your journey towards Worms. In the morning you will have a stopover in Speyer to visit the Spires Memorial Church commemorating the name “Protestant”. After some free time you will drive to Worms. In the afternoon you will take part at a guided city tour through the beautiful historic streets of Worms. During the tour you will see places of interest like the Cathedrale of St. Peter the place Luther stood before the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, and the Reformation Monument. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Worms.
Day 5: Reims and Paris France The French Reformation
Today your journey continues to France. On your way to Paris you will have a stopover in Reims where you will visit Notre Dame, where baptism of Clovis, King of Franks (“the eldest son of the papacy”) took place in 508 A. D. Afterwards, drive towards Paris, the city of love. Check-In in hotel in Paris and time for a first orientation. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Paris.
Day 6: Paris, France
The Role of France in Prophecy Start the day with discovery drive through the city to see sites of French Reformation and French Revolution. Enjoy the city and discover Napoleon`s tomb as well as Notre Dame, center of the cult of the Goddess of Reason, the Champs-Élysées and the place of guillotine at Place de la Concorde with you tour guide. In the afternoon you will have free time to explore the city on your own Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Paris.
Day 7: Departure
Today you will leave Paris, France. After breakfast departure for Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) by hotel shuttle (on own) for flight home.
