If there is one thing that comes to people’s minds when they think of Germany, its Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest is the biggest fair in the world with 6 million visitors and 13,000 employees.
You can experience Oktoberfest as part of a trip through Germany or Europe or come just to experience Oktoberfest and perhaps add a few extra days in Munich!
Day 1: Arrival in Munich
Arrival at the airport in Munich. You will meet your local guide and coach driver at the airport and travel with him to the city center for a guided tour. Discover Munich’s highlights in just three hours. The tour begins with a comfortable bus ride past major sights such as Allianz Arena, Nymphenburg Palace and the Englischer Garten. Your guide will share insights into the city’s history and culture as you enjoy panoramic views. The tour continues on foot through the historic old town. Highlights include Marienplatz with its famous Glockenspiel, the Frauenkirche, and the lively Viktualienmarkt. Your guide will lead you through charming streets and point out Munich’s most important landmarks.
In the afternoon, check in to the hotel and have free time to recover from the flight.
In the evening, a welcome dinner awaits you in a typical Bavarian Brewery Restaurant.
Day 2: Oktoberfest
Enjoy an unforgettable visit to Munich’s world-famous Oktoberfest. Your experience begins with a guided walking tour of the festival grounds, led by a local expert who will introduce you to the history, traditions, and unique atmosphere of the Wiesn. As you stroll past the colorful rides, lively beer tents, and traditional food stalls, your guide will share stories about Bavarian culture and the origins of the world’s largest folk festival.
After the tour, you will take your reserved seats inside one of the iconic Oktoberfest beer tents. Here you can fully immerse yourself in the festive mood: enjoy traditional Bavarian dishes, world-renowned Oktoberfest beer, and live music performed by local bands. With your reserved table, you can relax and celebrate without the stress of finding a place to sit.
Afterwards you will have time to stroll again through Oktoberfest and to maybe even take a ride on the ferries wheel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 3: Departure
Continue your journey to other parts of Europe or stay for a few days and enjoy Munich!

Upside-down adventure museum
Although the name museum is rather misleading here, as the real star of the museum is you. Whether you're a teenager, grandma or influencer - everyone will be thrilled here with fun, illusions and unique photo spots.
Beer- and Oktoberfest museum incl. beer tasting
Learn more about the history of beer starting with the migration of peoples and the monasteries to the development of the German Purity Law and the Munich beer quality. In addition, you will get an insight into the history of the world's largest folk festival - the Oktoberfest. Afterwards, a small tasting is not to be missed (incl. beer tasting approx. 20 min, 1 pretzel and 2 small beers from the Augustiner brewery).
Day-excursion to Upper Bavaria
Blue lakes, white skies, lush green hop fields and beer gardens. You drive through picturesque landscapes, see monasteries and lakes. The highlight is a visit to the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle. From 1869 - 1886 king Ludwig II had built the Neuschwanstein castle "in the authentic style of the old German knights". The socially aloof king commissioned the building of the castle as a retreat from the public eye. Ironically, after his death, the castle became the most visited place in Europe. The setting of Neuschwanstein could not be more idyllic. During a guided visit you will see the king's residential and representative rooms that are located on the third and fourth floors of the palace. The rooms on the second floor remained in the shell and today house functional rooms of the museum.
In the afternoon you will visit Oberammergau, town of Passion Play and famous for woodcarving and its paintings on the houses. Additionally, you will stop at the pilgrimage church Wieskirche. The oval rococo church is a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and was extensive restored until 1991. Return to Munich for dinner and overnight.
