Day 1: Arrival/ Overnight stay
Arrival transfer to hotel in Wroclaw. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Wroclaw - Czestochowa
Wroclaw Cathedral, church of St. John the Baptist, is the spiritual center of Wroclaw. Attend a mass or devotion when possible. After lunch break, continue your journey to Czestochowa.
Day 3: Czestochowa
Visit of Pauline Monastery, likely to be the highlight of your journey. Its renowned Black Madonna statue continues to draw numerous pilgrims and tourists. Solemnly adorned with crowns blessed by Pope Benedict XVI. Many votive offerings are evidence of the miracles that have been given in return for the intercession of the Mother of God. Opportunity to attend mass or a rosary.
Day 4: Cracow
After a morning devotion, continue to Cracow. Guided visit of Cracow including Rynek Glowny, one of the largest medieval squares in Europe. Visit St Mary's Church, where the stunning medieval altar sculpted by Veit Stoss is located and onto the Royal Wawel Castle featuring Wawel Cathedral. Feel the close connection between John Pope Paul II, and Crakow: Here he worked as a parish curate in the Church Florian and lived among others as bishop in Dechant house in Kanoninzka Street. We can organize a Holy Mass in the Church Florian for your congregation.
Day 5: Lagiewniki - Wadowice
In Lagiewniki - a district of Crakow - you visit one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Poland - the convent of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. In 2002 a new church was completed and was consecrated by Pope John Paul II. In the ancient Church of Mercy you can find the image of Saint Faustina. A Sister shows the monastery and talks impressively of Saint Faustina's visions. You have the possibility to celebrate your own Holy Mass in one of the chapels. Afterwards you continue your trip towards Wadowice. Here John Pope II was born as Karol Wojtyla in May 18th of 1920. You visit his Birth House, St Mary's Basilica, where John Pope II was baptized later.
Day 6: Departure
Time for leisure and transfer to airport.
